I listened to it and it is too sudden in the differences. It is smooth then changes to harshness then back to smooth. It is anger.

In the second one what was he playing? It had keys kind of like piano but it didn't look or sound anything like piano.

He's playing a Pipe Organ, which in this case is driven by air. The controls you see the assistant manipulating are called Stops (the Wiki link gives a good explanation of their purpose). If you ever get the chance, go and listen to one in person, you'll find it quite an experience, their sound has such presence.

Beautiful. Blade Runner was an awesome movie, way ahead of its time. As for Vangelis, I liked his music right from the first time ever hearing it. Of course the best way to experience Vangelis (in my opinion anyway ), is not through the visual interpretations of YouTube videos... but rather by sitting back, closing your eyes, listening, and letting your own mind flow and build images with his music.
