This is a rather tenuous link, but I used the Celestia database to do the starfield in this image from 2004.

Neat pictures buggs_moran. I had no idea moons could eclipse eachother in Celestia.
AMD Athlon X2 4400+; 2GB OCZ Platinum RAM; 320GB SATA HDD; NVidia EVGA GeForce 7900GT KO, PCI-e, 512MB, ForceWare ver. 163.71; Razer Barracuda AC-1 7.1 Gaming Soundcard; Abit AN8 32X motherboard; 600 watt Kingwin Mach1 PSU; Windows XP Media Center SP2;
I just bought a Sharp Aquos 42" 1080p LCD, and I thought I'd try out Celestia on it. I'm amazed at the detail you can see. All images rendered at 1920x1080.
Over the amazon:

The fact that they're JPGs takes away some of the detail and quality. Anyone know where I can host PNGs in sizes as much as 3 MB? Imageshacks max image size is "only" 1.5MB.

your animated volcano on Io is pretty cool ! Great one !
This add-on is superb!
Buggs? Can you add any other volcanoes in the same SSC file?
I have removed all other Io eruption add-ons, and fully intend to
populate my Io with THESE eruptions. I very much appreciate this
file, and just wanted to thank you for the effort.
Is really a stunning display...
Thanks, Brain-Dead

My pleasure Bob. I am glad you like it. I can add a volcano at any location. I created an excel file which allows me to enter a long/lat and a plume height. At one point I was going to add a bunch, but my time is limited. I assume you would like to see Prometheus and some other specific ones?

Definitely Prometheus, and perhaps any one or two more of your
choosing, but if you have a methodology for adding these, I would
be more than happy to learn for myself...
Can this spreadsheet be made available? Or, did I miss something
here again?
At any rate, I really DO appreciate this add-on. Far more realistic than
anything else I've tried.
Again MANY thanks.

Okay Bob,
Here are 3 new ones, just put them in the Io folder under the extras folder. (right click, save link as...)
Prometheus http://www.clanmoran.net/celestia/site/files/Celestia_Add-ons3/Io_Volcanos/prometheus.ssc
Masubi http://www.clanmoran.net/celestia/site/files/Celestia_Add-ons3/Io_Volcanos/masubi.ssc
Pele http://www.clanmoran.net/celestia/site/files/Celestia_Add-ons3/Io_Volcanos/pele.ssc
New Horizons shot celurl follows >>>
cel://Follow/Sol:Jupiter:Io/2007-02-28T ... 1200&ver=2
Just for giggles I recreated the New Horizons shot (first) with my volcanoes (second). Follow the celurl above to see. Obviously I post processed this to greyscale and boosted the contrast way up...
If anything, Tvashtar is a bit small...
