Yes I know that, too. It's quite a while back that I looked all this up (my usual reaction in such cases )

I am anti-authoritative, and my imperative expressions are a reaction to spammers, who have infestated Shatters.net. You know, the spammers are like bullies who always try to seem innocent and normal and get the Celestia people off their case. There are 3 kinds of people on this forum 1. spammers who attack me and other Celestia people 2. the people who are interested in Celestia and try to find others who are also interested in Celestia and 3. the fools who think the spammers mean good and fail to see their attacks on Celestia people. I'm very surprised that such a inspired project such as Celestia has a discussion forum that is full of hate and prejudice.

Predjudice and hate... the cries of someone who has been called out and can't handle it.
The fact is, this forum has been largely spam free for quite some time. Oh, the occasional spammer might sneak in, but I haven't seen one for a while.
No, your excuse is simply a poor attempt to justify bad behavior, in my opinion. No hate, no predjudice. Simply calling it as I see it.

H?©h?©... guy you are incredible...
Well, as I cannot stand injustice and as you seems to think that you are a victim of a true conspiracy, I will try to help you understand what's wrong with this thread.
The root your misfortune is the very first post of this thread. I know, I know, you are the author of this post, but let's read your statement again, you will understand:
Please create the space dock from ST3 Search for Spock. I'm talking about the huge solid structure with a door in upper mushroom-like part for whole spaceships to slide in. U.S.S. Excelsior was in the station with Enterprise-A. Be accurate. Your links have only the small one ship holders, which I definitely don't need. There is no pictures of it anywhere. The most important space station of the space travel of humanity in the Star Trek Universe has been totally forgotten and neglected.
Let's analyse it more closely:
Please create the space dock from ST3 Search for Spock.
Ok, this first sentence in itself as nothing wrong, anyway, one can note that the tone could be somewhat a bit warmer, kind:
Would someone be interested in creating the space dock from the movie Star Treck 3, search for Spock.
I'm talking about the huge solid structure with a door in upper mushroom-like part for whole spaceships to slide in. U.S.S. Excelsior was in the station with Enterprise-A
As you know, 2 kind of people are interested in Celestia; on one hand people who use it for fun (SF fans, artist etc...) on the other hand people who use it as a frame for more serious topics (education, astronomy etc...)
The target of the statement above seems to be the second population of Celestia users for the simple reason that you are describing the object the way you would do with a person who have no idea of what is supposed to be a space station. So as whatever SF fan knows very well what is a Space Sation and probably knows very well his classics (in this case Star Treck), you are for sure asking for this model to the second population of users.
The problem is that this second pollution of user, first have no interest in this kind of models, second are smart enough to knows the concept of Space Station, so in all case this statement is pretty injurious vis-a-vis ALL Celestia users, and this won't help you at all.
Definitively this statement should be removed for a good approach.
Be accurate
Ok, this mean that if someone dare to spend his time modeling what you want be too windows are missing, it won't be to your taste and will have to redo the homework... Quite a dictatorial attitude, not very friendly indeed. Something like this would be help you much:
As it would be interesting to have a model as accurate as possible, I'm ready to help in finding all necessary documentation to achieve a master piece.
Translation: it's not a model for you but for the entire community, you want it accurate because you are in search for quality (what is good), you propose your help (because you don't have any skill in 3D and because you want this model), pretty honorable attitude.
Your links have only the small one ship holders, which I definitely don't need
Again not very warm; instead:
Unfortunately I only found on Motherlode another model that don't fit my present needs...
There is no pictures of it anywhere.
If you state that, don't post a picture of it! (it's not serious at all...)
The most important space station of the space travel of humanity in the Star Trek Universe has been totally forgotten and neglected.
At least this sentence seems fine.
*****
SO let's resume.
First we had:
Please create the space dock from ST3 Search for Spock. I'm talking about the huge solid structure with a door in upper mushroom-like part for whole spaceships to slide in. U.S.S. Excelsior was in the station with Enterprise-A. Be accurate. Your links have only the small one ship holders, which I definitely don't need. There is no pictures of it anywhere. The most important space station of the space travel of humanity in the Star Trek Universe has been totally forgotten and neglected.
Now we could have instead:
Would someone be interested in creating the space dock from the movie Star Treck 3, search for Spock. Unfortunately I only found on Motherlode another model that don't fit my present needs...
As it would be interesting to have a model as accurate as possible, I'm ready to help in finding all necessary documentation to achieve a master piece.
The most important space station of the space travel of humanity in the Star Trek Universe has been totally forgotten and neglected.
But better, if you really want to achieve your goal, you could even add a few friendly/warmer words and rewrite the text to achieve something like:
Hi everybody,
I'm presently interested in the Star Treck Universe, and most particularly I was searching for a model of the Space dock from the movie Star Treck 3, search for Spock. As this model is not part of the addons listed on Motherlode (others nice models are there but don't fit my present needs), I was wondering if someone would be interested in creating this model.
As it would be interesting to have it as accurate as possible, I'm ready to help in finding all necessary documentation to achieve a master piece.
I think it's a bit of pity that the most important space station of the space travel of humanity in the Star Trek Universe has been totally forgotten and neglected, it's why I'm proposing this venture.
Anyone interested?
Have you noticed the difference?
Ok, I agree, the meaning in all case is the same, but you must understand that this forum is for humans and humans have some codes that one have to respect to be able to communicate with them...
If you need something else to understand why people have reacted this way in this thread, just ask, I will be pleased to help you.

ElChristou! If you were resident in the UK, you could probably claim a tax credit as a 'carer' what with your generous assistance... .
Mind you, the original poster does remind me of the Borg Collective. Remember him from the forum early days? "We require ..." (See http://www.celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2605). It all ended in tears though: http://www.celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2734.
I wonder if there's any relation...

Hey friends,
I am also having fun with this thread!
The agressiveness in writing style of our Finnish "Forum Improver" easily exceeds mine by an order of magnitude Like this paragraph for example:
Wow...and my respective reputation is not at all bad, I gather
Next to my special friend Christophe: Here I have two observations:
1)
Christophe, I think excessive work is getting you down
2) I simply have to say this once: Perhaps not unrelated to the fact that Christophe meanwhile moved up to position 5 of our top ten posters, ... his English has tremendously improved! ( judging for example from his extensive politeness lecture for Teemu Ruskeep?¤?¤...)
Cheers,
Fridger

But then it's all misleading. Because these prhases are wrote after my post about the Trek's meshes, theorically it would be point to me. First, I've asking for alot of thing to all Celestians but Teemu. Second, the "your intolerant friends" what account for? All the Celestians, I believe; just no one before this topic have been intolerant with Teemu. Third, mine was an aswer (where to find the models) and not a question.
EDIT LATER:
Elchristou, this is a logical analysis of the language.

Oops
I think it's obvious, one must (yes, I do insist) read "population" instead of "pollution"... (sorry for you guys, member of this second population of good folks...)
(no, it was not a "lapsus r?©v?©lateur" (how do you say that in English? telltale slip-up?), just nerves )

In my humble opinion it's matter of fast write keyboards problem. The letter "L" is just under the "O" and the write's velocity tend to move the fingers around instead to think what closest "P" is to "O".

Could be... specially when the only light source over my desk are the screens...

I see many, many English mistakes, and I could point them all out before being asked, but if I did it would really slow up and get in the way of the points being discussed in this forum. I curtail my hobby as a 'spelling nazi' for your convenience .
As you ask though, "lapsus r?©v?©lateur" transliterates as "revelatory lapse", but I think translates better as "telltale sign". There's also "give away" or "dead give away" if it's a really obvious one!
Back to the original poster: I find it a bit spooky that the guy turns up almost four weeks later, all guns blazing. Shall we check back 16 Sep, then? Selden still ain't had to lock up this topic yet!

In the U.S. at least, a "telltale sign" usually is an indirect indication of something, not necessarily in speech: a telltale sign of being excited is an increased heartrate. A "Freudian slip" usually is something said by a person which accidentally reveals what that person really is thinking about. But both can be used to describe the same things.
