Any of the Celestia 1.2.5preX are not working for windows 98.
When I click on the exe the window appears, but the no sky with Io on it.
After about 15-20 seconds it crashes.
I have, Direct AGP 3D graphics with 11 mb Video memory and have the latest version of Direct X.
Does or did this ever happen to anyone else?

I don't think it's Win98 per se -- I have had no problems when I've run Celestia under W98se using an Nvidia based card. I suspect you need to download the most recent video drivers. DrectX calls them, so just updating DirectX won't help.
Intel sells several different variants of the "direct agp graphics" chipset.
The drivers for your specific system should be available on the Web site of your computer's manufacturer. e.g. Compaq, now HP, provides them for their systems at http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/deskpro/us/download/6852.html
