Planetarium

Hi all,
Today I got my best results so far with Celestia being projected on to our Planetarium Dome, using a mirror and video projector, it is still no where near perfect/ ready to show the public/schools but I feel I am not fair away. I have a few pictures of what it looks like, of course you cant get the true feeling but it gives you aint idea :)
I will keep you up to date on the progress I make.

Celestia in Planetarium

Post #2by Colin_hutcheson » 02.03.2007, 13:24

Andrew

Just spotted your post with images. rather impressive. Could you let us know what system you use? is it Celestia and Stellarium? We at Thinktank Planetarium will be getting an inflatable planetarium and would be interested in finding out more. Such as any hint/tips and how well it works using MirrorDome. I'm having to re write the shows we currently have into this software.

Colin asked a question “Could you let us know what system you use? is it Celestia and Stellarium?” so can you reply to this question? It will be interesting to know what system you use.
