What the heck just happened?
What the heck just happened?
I loaded Celestia up, and many moons are missing for some strange reason. Saturn is missing Pan and Atlas, Jupiter is missing 90% of its moons, and half the moons are missing from Uranus and Neptune. I checked the .ssc file, and... they were gone. I tried to go to Pan (Saturn's moon) and it sent me to an imaginary point really close to Amalthea (Jupiter's moon). I clicked Amalthea, then went back to Pan, and it didn't do anything. What the heck just happened?
Calm down. NOW.
Did you move any files at all or edit where your extras folder is? Check that minormoons.ssc is there (I think it should be sitting in the data or extras folder).

If you have lost your minormoons.ssc, which is located in the extras folder in the default installation, you can get a new copy here:
http://celestia.cvs.sourceforge.net/celestia/celestia/extras/minormoons.ssc?view=log
You need to right-click on the "Download" and choose save target or save link, otherwise it will open the file as a text file in your browser.
Make sure to click on the first download link on the page, that will give you the latest version of the file.
