distance error?

Post #1by cartrite » 16.12.2005, 21:39

There seems to be a difference in the way windows and linux treat distances
with celestia. I'm not sure if this was disscussed before.

The earth at 541 km with a windows version. This is level 6. I think it's ft-1.2 or 1.4pre6

The kde version of 3.2 at 467 km. This is level 5

The same kde version that just went to level 6 at 373 km

Has anyone ever noticed this before. It doesn't seem to matter which version of celestia is used but which version of operating system is used.
Which one is correct?

There may be a problem at Image Shack. The above thumbs were not showing up in the preview.
