Hello forum
Iam new here and hope this is getting put in the right place to ask this question.Iam trying to make a giant wall display like nasa mission control.and this software comes really close to doing the 3d display on the right side.Has anyone make any earth textures like nasa uses on this display.would like it as much like nasa has as possible.I have a picture of nasa mission control showing that display.Just dont know how to put picture on forum yet.And is there a way to put ground tracks in this program like a satellite tracking program does. Thanks for any help. this program is the greatest.Love watching iss fly around the skys.
thanks again

Can you elaborate more? What are your intentions with the project, home, school, museum? Is the data going to emulate the Nasa wall and have to be connected to one another. Do you want realtime to follow missions? There are lots of apps already created in other programs to do many of these things. These will impact my response.

This is home use only.Dont think they need to connect to each other.I have a satellite tracking program that works great.wxtrack, orbitron .Yes would like it to follow missions Doesnt have to be real time but if it used tle's files for tracking or at lease look just like the 3d display nasa has.Yes it will emulate the nasa wall.If there are programs you know of that does this already would love to know more about them.
THANKS

A few things...
Can you post a picture of what their terrain is like?
Are you going to use multiple computers and monitors?
This is a link to a java countdown clock (link to only clock is under clock on page)
http://countdown.ksc.nasa.gov/shuttle/countdown/cdt/
Have you seen this page http://science.nasa.gov/Realtime/jtrack/3d/JTrack3D.html
You could grab pics from their sites and have them refresh once a minute... The bottom two are from LIVE NASA video feeds. If you wait a minute or so and hit F5 they should change...
Of course if you have multiple CPUs you could run RealPlayer video feeds too. (2 examples below)

Good Luck!
