I have been testing the last version of World Wind, but I think it has several bugs.On the Moon,I select the Clementine 3xxx,but some parts of the moon still is in "normal" texture.Even when the relief map is not toggled, some regions of the moon has this map shown.I was unable to see the craters in real 3D.
The menu is a bit confused and it is more difficult to customize.
It??s a pity, since I thought I would see very high resolution maps of the Moon
Google Earth is easier to use,but don??t have the same resolution im pany places.Celestia is limited,in this case, too.
Should be an incompatibility with my system?

Hello danielj,
I never used World Wind, so my comment is only on the Clementine 3D data. NASA has never published detailed 3D data on the topography of the Moon. They did publish Clementine data on crater elevations, but only in coarse quality. The 65000 data points in their 1 degree grid are not enough data points to see most crater details. Their 1/4 degree grid elevation data has flaws that look like vertical stripes.
Maybe this is the cause of the poor 3D portrayal in the 2D pictures you have seen.
Here are some 2D pictures of Clementine 3D models I made of the Moon, and the flaws are clear.

Clementine has good photographs but poor 3D elevation data at this time.
That will be fixed by next Spring.

Your wish is my command line.
I noticed the stripes.Well,so World Wind is not a very good program for Moon, after all.
I was disappointed because I saw some pictures in a local newspaper and the images look awesome. But when I start to use the program, the reality was different.
