I would guess there are a lot of people who cant run cmod...me being one...Another upgrade and reinstall is called for here methinks.

CMOD objects are new with Celestia v1.3.2. Some people are still running v1.3.1 or earlier.

I was thinking of a model looking something like this.

Yes, but I wonder in 3d how it would be; I mean it would be cool that the letters (words) alwways point at the observer...
