The original Blue Marble textures are 43200x21600 pixels and can be found here
ftp://veftp.gsfc.nasa.gov/outgoing/bluemarble/
in various forms, there is an unshaded version, shaded and also bathymetry (ocean depths) version. Each one requires two files (East and West).
Other than this I dont think there is any easily available-I maybe wrong though,Jestr

Is there a program that can group all the small pictures of VT's in a only one image? When I downloaded VT's, I found many .jpg small pictures. I tried to regroup all them with photoshop, but I have difficulties to regroup them.

Unless they're in PNG format, VTs will have been damaged by the process of converting them to JPEG or DDS format. The resolution and colors will not be quite as good as the original full sized images. You should ask the authors of the VTs for copies of the original images.

The original images are likely to be the 43k files jestr gave the link to in the post above. Get it from the source, instead. It??s faster, and you don??t have to bother anyone else with transferring a half gigabyte of data...

hi as to regrouping a 64k vt when i work on larg maps i use vips/nip
to tile them into 8k chunks and rejoin them
so for joining 2048 512x512.png's should not be to hard but will be time consuming with uot a shell script to do it
