In my searches about planet X (Niburu) I ran across the information that another 'planetoid' was found called Sedna. It has an odd path that does not go around Sol. can anyone figure this out.
here is the link to the info: http://xfacts.com/sedna_planetx_2004.htm (it links to the official NASA press release.
If anyone can figure t out, please post a script for it so i can add it to my program.
Can anyone figure out how to make this add-on?
Sedna does indeed orbit around the sun. It just happens to have a very long orbital period.
See http://www.gps.caltech.edu/~mbrown/sedna/
Its orbital parameters are available at

Parameters usable by Celestia are available at

Sedna
Actually Sedna is already included in the latest version of Celestia. That is Celestia 1.4.0. You can find it by going to the Navigation menu, and by then clicking on Solar System Browser. Then scroll down to the bottom of the objects in the Solar System. You will find the last entry, if you haven't installed some other add-ons, listed as 2003 VB 12 (Sedna).
Hope this helps.
