Heightmaps in JPG format only....

Post #1by Rassilon » 17.01.2005, 13:05

IN an attempt to weed through all the irrelevant crap on google and being on a 56k I have given up the search for a decent hightmap of current planetary data and come here in hopes someone could direct me to the relevant sites...I am looking for 1k - 2k heightmaps of entire planets and also selected features...namely Valles Marineris and Olympus Mons on Mars just to name a few...

Links will be greatly appreciated and will be followed by an end result...pictures of my work....Possibly a final release here soon...whenever Mr. Ball comes back from vacation that is :D
I'm trying to teach the cavemen how to play scrabble, its uphill work. The only word they know is Uhh and they dont know how to spell it!
