I found a link to celestia site on my Elite Force mod forum, I download/instal it and: WOW, this is a cool software! later I found some addons and this forum: WOW, this go cooler and cooler!

well, to bring the answer to a point - there are no mods as you might be familliar with from Q3A and other fps.
However, as you can see there's continously development going on by Chris Laurel, the author and others.
If you'd like to participate, great. There are several ways to do so. If you have coding experiance, try to down the source and get going. If you're a grfx guy do textures and post them on the resource site, bruckners. If you do 3D models, even better. We need lots of Classic and modern models.
Just look around under related sites, you'll find something

PS.: The thing coming closest to the mod idea is a project called 'mostly harmless'. Check it out.

Welcome fellow modders...I personally come from the Armada modding community and can tell you that there is no limit to what you can do with this software....And its realistic unlike that joke Armada 2...Enjoy your stay
