Problem is... I don't think anyone knows how to fix it.

The only thing I could suggest is to completely uninstall Celestia,
re-boot your computer, and then re-install Celestia with the
latest release. This may not work either, but it's what I'd do.

It sounds like it's more a problem with your PC's operating system
to me though. Especially if Celestia isn't the only program to which
this has happened. Do you have any other programs in the same
boat? Or is it *only* Celestia?

Sorry, that's all the help I can give you. I'm Brain-Dead, remember?

Take care, Bob

I have many with the same problem, but they have one common denominator - InnoSetup Compiler.

Well, I know.

Just add 1 line of code to the InnoSetup scripts

under [setup] write:

UnInstallDisplayIcon="{app}\Celestia.exe"

And thank you very much.

The celestia.iss file now includes a specific icon definition for the Add/Remove Uninstall Celestia icon. Thanks Fenix.

Yes, I helped someone else, and that someone is the Audacity program, which is also a part of TheOpenCD disrto. I trying to push the same for GTK+/GIMP, but for now it is no go.

I am doing some bug-testing and Quality Assurance of our CD, so by helping underlying "components" (OSS projects) be of hi-quality, we help to ourselves... :)

TheOpenCD - a perfect OSS distro for "Windows" for first-time users, and newbies to Free Software, we have a very user-friendly setup, and we are aiming to impress Windows software users by the quality OSS project can achieve, so everything must be of a highest level possible.

OpenSource distros is a perfect way to distribute this project.

Thank you, and if you want, download our .iso from http://www.theopencd.org , and give it some your Windows friends or you may leave feedback about our project. You're welcome.
