Saving settings ?

Once I have set up my Display mode, Sync Orbit option and FOV etc. is it possible to then save these settings so that this then becomes the start up point for Celestia?

Ok, I managed to get some of the settings I wanted for starting up editing the start.cel

Is there anyway to get it to start up in full screen and high res ?

Thank you.

I manged to get it to start up in full screen by adding --fullscreen to the Celestia shortcut target.

Any ideas on starting up in high res ?

Hello,
I managed to start it up in high res by removing the medres and lores folders.

So now I have a shortcut on my taskbar which starts up Celestia fullscreen, orbiting Earth ............ it makes a great one click screensaver !

I'm assuming now that if I modify the start.cel further I should be able to get it to go no a tour of the universe, a bit like the demo.cel...............what a great screensaver that will be !

I have a second instance of Celestia installed for non screensaver mode.

Wow, I'm enjoying playing with this ! ..................

Wow, you did pretty darn good for 1-1/2 hours of experimentation! :D

Congratulations!
