(BTW: I notice that the Chris has at some time in the last month-and-a-half updated the IAU locations webpage at http://www.shatters.net/~claurel/celestia/files/locations/, so that the files all now contain feature codes - allowing you to switch maria and craters on and off properly. Maybe this has already been announced somewhere in the forum; if so I guess I must have missed it.)
