I was thinking a little about the possibility that something may have happened to bruckner and I was wondering, does someone have access to an obituary in spain? Maybe someone could look for him.

I have been considering to call to his (previous? ) work and ask for him. I think it is a somewhat intrusive measure, but I do not see another way to do it. I have searched for obituaries, but found none (in internet). Perhaps I should go to a hemerotheque (is that the name in english?) and search in Madrid's newspapers of around the date of his last appearance here.

There isn't a single word in English: we'd call it a "newspaper library", I think.

Yea, that sounds like a good idea. Maybe we could make a list of things that should be said when he is called, something that like everyone could contribute to. Just thinking outloud I guess. I don't really think that it would be intrusive, I mean he did put more than his share of personal information on the internet. Do what you like, but it may be the only way of contacting him.

Star Lion,

There seems to a problem with your downloads, I get the following error:

"You do not have permission to access http://bruckner.50megs.com/Download/Rea ... /Part1.z01
Data files must be stored on the same site they are linked from. "

I tried a number of files with the same result.

Star Lion,

in case you have not seen my remarks and those of Don.Edwards concerning your Bruckner restoration project, here they are again:

http://www.shatters.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3953&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15

While your effort is certainly great, I suggest you seriously try and do a significantly more reliable job.

If you just substitute my 'pioneering' image exposition on Bruckner's e.g. in Galery.pg.1 randomly by other images (e.g. Don's) , but leave my original explanatory text to go with the new 'placeholders', this will serve nobody!

In other words, the content of these pages is just pure nonsense. Ever thought of this?;-)

Bye Fridger

Post #54by StarLion » 22.12.2003, 23:15

There's nothing wrong with the downloads, it works using IE, AOL, and Mozilla, what are you using?

P.S. does anybody have any of the REAL gallery images, I realy need them?

StarLion

If you are REALLY wanting to show the gallery images on your Bruckner site, then for the time being, it might be worth making them more relevant for Fridgers textures by using and taking screenshots of his textures? They are available at;
