Oops...sorry guys...I guess this is the beta version. I've noticed the remains of a selection marquee in Saudi Arabia...around Riyadh. I will try to fix this, but only if you want me to!

It would be great to get the night lights to twinkle...not that old chestnut!!

If you give it a try, let me know what you think.

Its nice, but a bit too yellow for my liking.
Don's current night lights are very white, Personally i would like a slight yellow tint to it.
But this one has a very strong yellow apearence.

and it is only yellow in patches ? why is that ?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news bh
But!.. now all the night lights look the same brightness

With the one I am using at the moment, the lights are brighter in some areas and dim in others, depending on city size

but your second version all looks the same brightness.
put Dons verion in another folder, and switch between them.
and you will see what i meen.

this is only my opinion of course.

Oh dear...sorry guys. What was I thinking of to tackle this one! Damn that ESB!

I really didn't notice the brightness level of the lights at all!

Anyway...my last (never say never!) attempt is here...(if you liked the last one - rename it):

Right...this is my last effort. Made a bit of a hash of the last one!

Basically it's just a bit brighter and sharper than the usual...with a bit of colour. It's now around 300kb.

the larger citys are bright and white
and the smaller citys duller and slightly yellowish

this is now set as my main night texture.
Thanks bh.

Yeah I think this is when the clouds move across the night texture.
It looks great.

No, the first time I tryed it the clouds where disabled and I saw the lights effect.
So its not the clouds.

That's probably just the clouds passing over them.

Hello Mike...if you get a whole Earth night view, set to follow Earth, turn off the clouds and set the speed up twice, you will get the 'twinkle'!

Many regards...bh.
