Just [`] does the trick.
(You should look under Help/Controls in the Celestia menus if you want this sort of information.)

Under Win XP, the [`] alone is not enough... to activate it, you need another caracter... try yourself...

I must admit I've only ever had to press the [`] key.

Same for me. :?
I even tried to address with "WINWORD" the given [ ` ] symbol to the given button (the left button of the first upper row, on left side of number 1), that in my keyboard gives the [ \ ]. 8O
No results!
Up today I cannot say what is my frame rate when I open some big texture with clouds, bumpmaps etc. :x
Someone can help us, please?
Thanks a lot!

It works for me with a spanish keyboard. My [`] key is just right to the [p] key, (QWERTY keyboard), and I got it by pressing [`], [SPACEBAR].
[`] only doesn't work because it expects a vowel after for putting the accent in it. By pressing [SPACE] you are saying that you need the [`] symbol alone.

If you are unsuccessful in getting the [`] alone, try pressing ALT+096 (with the numeric keypad).

Dear Javier, thanks a lot for your information. The first given solution doesn't work on my keyboard (even if it's QWERTY), because the button on right of the [p] is the accented e [?], :( while the second solution, ALT+096, is working perfectly. :D
Thank you again.
