.... about what kind of impression I'm making on this forum. Not weather I'm appropreate enough or helpful, more like how old do you (anyone reading this) think I am? Just a simple poll, thats all. And, Chris, before you put this in purgatory, at least give it a few days. By the way, did anyone know there is a poll option limit?

Some interesting results, not what I expected to say the least. One more thing, I will be away for a week starting monday, going on a nice vacation, so I may just give you a hint as to the answer before I leave tomorrow, just maybe..... :wink:

Most People know how old I am.
Probably the youngest here, 12 on September 30th :mrgreen:

I think you stated you're age in Katies thread for the site that shows event's on the day you were born and through you're life, even though I'm not shure if that's the thread... You don't have to worry about me telling anyone, if it was that thread then i don't even remeber what you posted.

Even if it does it will only be late today tommorow or the day after that.
As I recall chris said the purgatory will be open for a few days more,
but you're still very right it may end up in the purgatory and be locked before you're next visit.

We all are spending a a considerable amount of time on these forums.
I agree that should be nice to know each other better and profiling the forum users should be interesting specially for the developmet team.
But I think that if phpBB does not have two fields like gender and birthdate in profile management and the most of the forum visitors uses nicknames or remains anonymous is because the people prefers some kind of facelessness.
So the risk to incure in some kind of estrangement or exclusion that should be caused by prejudice against age or sex or nationality is slightly avoided.

I think that would be very nice if in a future someone organizes somewhere an event like a virtual meeting (a real one should cost too much) for a general reciprocal and public knowledge of the user and of developers who are interested. Perhaps some kind of chat on ICQ. A few rows and a photo should be sufficent.

Netmeeting is a cheap way for visual communication
The image still moves pretty quick when the person is several thousand KM away. I'd post my pic If I had somewhere too host it.
If you want to see what the hell I look like urgently then it would be nice if you hosted the pic
