what is Mirs??

what is Mirs??When i use celestia to watch it ,i see nothing,but i can see ISS,is it a bug of statellite??

some crafts in celestia has "exipration day". for example the MIR. if you rememeber, some time ago, the mir was reentered to erath and it crashed in the ocean. so now in real life, there is no mir, like in celestia. to see it you have to go back to the time when the mir [u]was[\u] orbiting earth in real life. there are many crafts with this ending date, and there are also with begining date.
if you read their *.ssc file, you will find a Begining and an Ending line.
in the mir section is this:

Beginning     2446482.0     # Launched 20 Feb 1986
Ending            2451989.77083 # Reentered 21 Mar 2001

that means that before 20 Feb 1986 and after 21 Mar 2001 you wont see the mir.
