Lylat System - Original (MrSpace43)

Post #1by MrSpace43 » 10.12.2020, 00:40

So a while ago, I had decided that I would try and make the Lylat system from the Star Fox video game series. I had put the project on hold after adding in 4 of the planets, but I'm considering on returning to it (It even features cubicApocalypse's lens flare sprites for Lylat).

The system so far:

Been into Astronomy since the age of 3 or 4. Started making planetary textures back in late 2016. 3D animator who makes high quality animations in Cinema 4D. Likes to sometimes, deliberately torment myself with the stupid green screaming apatosaurus that is Arlo.

The unfortunate thing about the Lylat system is that there is no official layout or order of the planets. All we know is that Macbeth is the closest to Lylat, and that there is an asteroid belt between Corneria and Fortuna.

Man, this is incredible. I don't know if you're a fan of Star Fox, but what I do know is that if I were Nintendo, I'd hire you to design Lylat's system. I'm glad to know that there are people before me who try to recreate this solar system inhabited by furries.

Sir, please do not necropost old topics that have not been touched for years.

Besides this thing has been on an indefinite hold because there is no official layout of the Lylat System that Nintendo ever published, so it's literally anyone's guess how it could be, and it's a friggin' nightmare to try and figure out the true order of the planets.
