Red Vortex

Post #1by cubicApoc » 10.06.2020, 21:20

Red Vortex is a 3.3-solar mass black hole in M83, orbited by a frozen volcanic super-earth named Bluelight for its bright blue aurorae. Props to anyone who can guess where I actually lifted the names from. Addon only works in 1.7.0 due to distance.
Consider this addon CC-BY. I've included the .blend files for the accretion disk and aurora models, in case you want to mod them for anything else.

A note for those not on Discord...cubicApoc is actually the old time member W0RLDBUILDER.

This addon is great, too! (although since it's in M83 which is beyond 1.6's star render limit, it only works in 1.7)
