HOLY-CARAMBA!!!!! This is a large quasar group

Post #1by kristoffer » 11.01.2013, 20:34

There has been discovered an insanely large structure, a quasar group, that is stretching 4 billion light-years, which is 1/20 the diameter of the observable universe. This particular group is so large that it challenges modern cosmological theory, researchers said.

"While it is difficult to fathom the scale of this LQG, we can say quite definitely it is the largest structure ever seen in the entire universe," lead author Roger Clowes, of the University of Central Lancashire in England, said in a statement. "This is hugely exciting, not least because it runs counter to our current understanding of the scale of the universe."

Someone needs to make an addon including quasars.

News like this one only proves that Halton Arp was perfectly right  It would be good to know something about it, if someone wants to create really good and realistic addons :smoke:
Still formally developer, but too tired to develop. I feel sad, but Celestia is going forward despite it.
Btw, the universe is ruled by electricity.
