Hello John,
Multiple thanks. I have yet to download the bsp files and try it out but your fine work is very much appreciated.

David.

Hello John
I've installed the addon and it works really well. One particular benefit is that my FPS, with all orbits showing, is up in the mid 30's. I wonder why?

The June 2012 Venus Transit is closer to the published prediction which was my particular interest. I thought I might try to calculate "the size of the Solar System" attempted by the Cook transit measurements in 1769. The installed Spice kernals don't reach back to that time so another transit will have to suffice.

A minor point:-
The earth and moon textures in the ssc have .png extensions and I've changed these to .*

Regards, David.
