I also think the fourth as an interesting and new suggestion. I like the hot feeling we have watching it. Saturn is also a good planet choice : it is currently visited with cassini probe, she is, except Earth, probably one of system solar's planet the most known and the most recognized by a lot of people. The sunshine remembers stars ; that Celestia is not only a planet traveler but also, and first(?) a star generator (who has said a space simulator? :D )! I wonder if you could not place your probe on this icon too...? (a small one one surfing on Saturn's ring : what a such invitation it would be to travel into it, wouldn't be?

Firstly, I doubt that e.g. icon 4 has been done from scratch. Hence references and potential copyrights for the image source must be given (as always).

Furthermore, Celestia is a multi-platform application. Hence any new icons should be prepared in the formats that are accepted for Windows, MacOS and Linux, respectively. Using different Celestia icons for the various operating systems is obviously not a good idea.

Excuse me fo my English
So,
Icon #1: image NASA's Cassini spacecraft - http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/index.cfm
Icons #2, #3, #5: Images from the program "Celestia" (only)
Icons #4: screenshot from the program "Saturn 3D Space Tour Screensaver".
But if the screenshot cannot be used, here I have made of image from "Celestia":

Here the project of my work (free for use :D) in the program "Adobe Photoshop CS5 (Trial)": click
(ZIP archives - 2Mb).

Fridger - I do not offer using different Celestia icons for the various operating systems. I have given some variants on a choice. Only one icon can use for all systems. Unfortunately at me is not present Linux and I do not know what in this systems standards for icon. :(
I like a updated classical variant of a icon. The program is already very known and on this icon is easily recognised.

Best regards,
a.k.a Alex Berg

I appreciate your icons: expecially for dockbar's shortcuts. Thanks. 8)
