I was flying around space tonight
and looking at stars when i right clicked my mouse.
and one of the features on the drop down list was "MARK"
I marked a star, and couldn't see what this might achieve.
Nothing Changed.
What is this and what is it for
Is it anything like Locations
unknown feature, what is it ?

The new marks are toggled with CTRL+K. This means there is a red mark attached to the center of the actual selection, /no matter/ whether you can see the selection or not. It's handy if you chose to select an object that is too feable to be visible on screen...Also the mark is visible on all views in a multiview display if the corresponding object is located somewhere in the multiview windows.
