Asteroid Modelling

Hi

I have never really attempted to model before and it would be a great skill to learn so can anyone give me a guide as to model an asteroid from scratch?

I have downloaded the modelling program anim8tor and a tool that converts anim8tor files to .CMOD files. I am eager try it out and play around with it. One problem I have ran into is finding a tutorial on how to create asteroids, ok there are some tutorials out there but they are for 3ds max, something I can't aford due to the fact it is commercial.

This would also come in handy for Extrasolar Systems that I am working on as well as the odd creation to share ;)

Much help would be grateful!

Cheers

Mr Noob,

Most likely you figured this out already by yourself.

If not take a look at the tutorials here Anim8or Tutorials.

Or have a look at youtube.com, there are several tutorials available for anim8or.
