New Trek addons

Post #1by fungun » 30.05.2008, 20:26

Well my first 2 addons are on the Motherload under the Star Trek section.
Beta Veldonna (Betazed) and The Briar Patch, with the Briar star and the planet Ba'ku.
Enjoy :D

I have found out, through a comment about my Betazed addon that it uses the same star as the Romulan addon created by Jestr. You can fix this 2 ways. 1) use my Romula stc file in his addon or 2) download my remake of the Romulan system.

Code: Select all

650053 "Romula"
{
RA  2.3529165
Dec -45.747499
Distance  163.26
SpectralType "M7III"
AppMag 8
}

And simply very nice work too, if I may say so...

As you know I don't really care much for the usual Star Trek stuff, but your efforts
are very well done, and exhibit realism in this SF environment. A real pleasure to
view. :wink:

(And you won't hear that out of this Brain-Dead old geezer very often.) :)

Hello Tim, I'm truly enjoying your newly released Drydock w/1701-A. :D
Particularly interesting and very nice is the moving Workbee, and the small shuttle attached on left side.
About this I have a little suggestion: if I don't mistake, the 1701-A docked in the DryDock has been seen only in the first 1979 movie, "Star Trek- the motion picture".
There Captain Kirk and the Engineer Scott are flying to the refurbished 1701-A, as you can see in the first image, taken from the movie, but during the docking to the Enterprise you show what's seen on left side, perhaps Dr. McCoy and another guy I don't recognize.
I made a little change to the TravelPod09_i.jpg as shown on the right of the same image, with Kirk and Scott at the window, and the result "on the job" of this is shown in the last image.
If you like it, I'll send you the full texture.
Moreover, could you please add to the 1701-A the lights for the name in the upper and lower hull, as Reiko's 1701-A? :wink:
Thanks a lot.
Bye

Andrea :D

Oh yes much better :D
Please do send it to me.
I have been reworking all the lights on all my models (about 120 of them) so it may be awhile.(the new Bajor and Klingon ones are up at the Motherload)
Also I am working on my next big addon Wolf 359. it will be in 2 parts, before the battle with the borg, and after with all the wreaked ships and debris field.
