This problem is caused by a bug in the VIA graphics driver.
An updated driver should be available for free on the Web site of the company which made your computer.

Zyenth, you could make a short search with Google to find the result.
I made it for you, so download the new drivers from here:

It was not so difficult, anyway.

Somebody else have the same problem on the french celestia forum
The topic is here:

EDIT may 13
With via chrome this solution was found:

I solved the problem and it should work for the person who created this post.
Simply remove the hardware acceleration card .... it works .... Certainly that is slower but removing a few details the result is quite correct.
For neophytes: config panel display / / Advanced / troubleshooting / then move the cursor to the left.

Hey!!!... thx for the reply.. but i already have the drivers installed... i run the OpenGL test on Celestia and it said i coul only run 4 textures at a time... i dont know what that really means.. but i think my problem could be on that direction (or not?).... i wish someone could tell me how to manage the textures so i can make sure im not trying to use more than 4 at a time!... Thank you very much!!.. hoping reply..
Bye!

Red globes means that the vertex shader routines are reporting an error. This is usually caused by obsolete or damaged OpenGL drivers.

Try re-downloading and re-installing Nvidia's current drivers. If it still fails after you've done that, provide a copy of shaders.log. Celestia creates it in the directory where you invoke it, usually on the desktop.
