Greetings to all.
I have recently downloaded a very good photoshop plugin caleld lunarcell which allows the creation of fictitional planetary textures, including bumpmaps and night-side maps.
It also allows the creation of cloud textures. However, for these textures to work correctly with Celestia, they must be on a PNG format going from totally opaque white to totally transparent white. The plugin generates the textures on a gradient going from white to black.
The question is: Anyone knows how I can turn these gradients from "black to white" into "transparent to white" in Photoshop?
Thanx for any reply.
Creating new cloud maps.

If you would have scoled down just a little further you would have found a thred called "Cloud textures and transparency". Now inside this tread on the second page I give a rather lengthy but acurate step-by-step how-to on how to use The Gimp to do this vary thing. It can be done in Photshop as well but I do not know the steps for it. I recomend downloading Gimp and giving this a try.

Past texture releases, Hmm let me think about it
Thanks for your understanding.
