Post #1by fraazz » 09.01.2003, 21:21

glu.h is missing during configure
glu is installed so I search for glu-devel but without success ...
does glu-devel exist or is it part of another package ?
I'm running nvidia geforce2pro on RH 8.0
any clue ?

problem solved, celestia intalled :))

using mini-howto NVIDIA-OpenGL-Configuration,
download MesaLib-5.0,
copy the glu.h into /usr/include/GL

glu.h is normally part of XFree86-devel-4.2.0-72, I was able to compile celestia on a RH8 without having copy glu.h from Mesa.

XFree86-devel is installed but glu.h not
IMHO it is related to the installation of the nvidia driver ...
