In 1998 the moon occulted Venus and Jupiter at the same time.
This event was visible from the South Atlantic Ocean. The previous occultation of the 2 brightest planets by the moon happend in 567AD. There is no other known occurence.
The next "double" occultation will take place in 2056 with Mars and Mercury.

Now, I'm curious. How do you take these pictures that depict several snapshots taken over time ? For example :
I am running 1.2.5b2, but I don't see a way to do this. Do you capture several images and merge them together using Photoshop or some other tool like that ??
PS: I am new to Celestia and I am loving every minute with it so far !!!
