Artemis 3
Sometime in 2025, its crew would be the first on the lunar surface since Apollo 17. Most likely will not utilize the Lunar Gateway though

just testing after racking my brain for hours trying to understand the "SSC" code. At least the effort was worth it! Note: the models are not mine, they are from a website.

Earth and the Moon compared to the smallest exoplanets detected by each of the four methods currently capable of detecting terrestrial planets. It should be noted that three of these planets only have mass measurements, so the displayed sizes are estimated from a mass-radius relationship and may be different from the true sizes.

From left to right, top to bottom:

  • PSR B1257+12 b/Draugr, the least massive exoplanet detected by timing, at 0.02 Earth masses. Texture by cubicApoc.
    • The least massive exoplanet with a mass measured by transit timing variations (TTV) is Kepler-138 b at 0.07 Earth masses, and the least massive discovered by TTV is Kepler-138 e at 0.43 Earths. There is an addon for Kepler-138 but it needs to be updated.
  • Kepler-37 b, the smallest exoplanet detected by transit, at 0.3 Earth radii. Texture by NASA, included in MrSpace43's addon.
  • Proxima Centauri d, the least massive exoplanet detected by radial velocity, with a minimum mass of 0.26 Earths. Texture by ChelseaZ.
  • KMT-2020-BLG-0414L b, possibly the least massive exoplanet detected by microlensing, with about the same mass as Earth. Texture by Trolligi depicting it as a Titan-like world.
    • The rogue planet candidate OGLE-2016-BLG-1928L may be less massive, at either ~0.3 or ~2 Earth masses. It's included in my microlensing rogue planets addon.

TRAPPIST-1 b without a significant atmosphere, as suggested by new JWST results.
(No update to the addon yet; after we have more JWST results I'll probably release a separate addon and the current one will become "TRAPPIST-1 Legacy".)

Just realized I have never posted this on the Forums yet, here's a five-second animation I took of volcanic eruptions on Io in action taken last 2022-Jan-11 (first shown on Discord, and is now the cover image of the add-on's mobile version)
