Help Needed: A wierd bug.
It has been a very long time. I gotten the latest version of Celestia. This is what it looks like when I start it up. I used the Crtl + V and the planet and moon textures go normally when back into OpenGL 2.0 mode. But the star and galaxy are rendered wierdly.
System Specs:
Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit Version
nVidia 6150 SE , Drivers 169.25
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
Dunno, if you need more system information, just ask. Thanks.

Nvidia 6000 series graphics cards should work fine.
When you updated your graphics drivers, did you delete the old drivers before you installed the new ones?
Installing new drivers on top of old drivers often will not generate error messages but will not install correctly, either.
I recommend that you download a fresh copy of the driver installation program, uninstall the old drivers, reboot (to make sure the low-level driver is released and deleted), and then install the new drivers.

Thanks, symaski62. The problem is that I don't have that type of menu anymore, recent drivers use something different. I was looking my menu, messing with the settings under 'Manage 3D Settings.' Nothing change.
I reinstalled the drivers, uninstalling old drivers. Now only the stars and galaxy are render that way. The planets and moons render normally.
Sigh, any more ideas?
Thanks for your efforts.
