Hi. Just downloaded 1.5.0 final and am checking it out. Just discovered that Pluto's orbit as a planet has been eliminated so it doesn't show up when planet orbits are selected, nor is its name displayed. That is fine, since it is no longer a planet.
However, it also doesn't show up when Asteroid orbits or names are selected (unlike Eris and Ceres, which do have orbit lines and their names appear when Asteroid names are selected). The only orbit that Pluto exhibits in 1.5.0 is the tiny orbit around its barycenter with Charon. That orbit is not even visible until you are on top of Pluto. Further, its name is not visible from space until you are on top of it (unlike Charon, which does display its name even from far above the plane of the solar system).
Is this a bug, or is it intentional? In either case, It would be nice to be able to see Pluto's name and orbit from space. I guess we could just call it a planet in the ssc file, but that defeats the purpose of removing it as a planet in the first place, and is obviously not accurate. We could call it an asteroid, but then we would have to look at ALL of the asteroid orbit lines (there are lots of them) in order to see poor old Pluto.
Is there a way to properly designate Pluto, Ceres and Eris as Dwarf Planets in Celestia, and display a separate set of names and orbit lines for them ... perhaps through a permanent script or a change in the render menu options?
Anyone have any other ideas?

Frank, this is strange.

you can see both Caron and Pluto names.
Obviously with 1.5.0, and asteroid-moon-planet names ON.

You are correct about the names, when you are close enough to Pluto and Charon to actually see their textures. However, when you back out to view more of the solar system's planet orbits and labels, Pluto's name is no longer visable. It disappears within 150,000 km as you back away. In contrast, Mercury's name can be seen from over 20 au out.
