Post #1by Darkmiss » 26.11.2002, 13:08

Okay I have made a custom CD cover and label, for anyone who wishes to use them.
For those who backup there Celestia to CD, or DVD.

I hope you like them.

They look great!

There's a typo on the CD label, though (shatter instead of shatters).

Hey, others could post their custom CD covers too - we could turn thin into a competition!

To future cover-makers:
Make a pictures smaller in size (compression) - it really took some time until they showed up!
Create a link under preview for a "normal" size covers (just a suggestion...)...

Okay thanks for tellimg me, the spelling has been corrected.

And its not the size of the pictures thats slow, its the web site.
as the pictures are only 180k each
and it took me over a minute just to get onto the forums today.

Darkmiss,
Although not about CD covers. I think thats the modified version of Fridger's cloudmap I made. By the way I am just finishing up an 8k version of that earth texture. I was able to get 512mb more ram, I now have a 1Gig so I will be updating Green amd Blue Mars textures to 8k as well. Should be ready in a day or so. I will keep you posted.
I am officially a retired member.
I might answer a PM or a post if its relevant to something.

Ah, never say never!!
Past texture releases, Hmm let me think about it

Thanks for your understanding.
