MediaCoder is the Solution, but have to wait for it

Found something on features for next release of MediaCoder: MediaCoder 0.7.x:
http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/blog/about-the-next-version-of-mediacoder

One of the features mentioned is batch image conversion/processing
(based on ImageMagick)

This is the solution for image conversion, and now only have to wait for it to come.

Hopefully .png, .jpg, .tiff, .tga and other image formats will be on that list in a year or two.

Images is in the NEXT version.
No it can't batch convert images now, but in the future it will.
