i had a neat little idea, why not make a little program within celestia, similar to a calculator, but instead it would do conversions, for example:
Km, AU, radii -> Mi
Mi -> Km, AU, radii
Km, AU, radii -> RSun
RSun -> Km, AU, radii

and a few other things. Just an idea...

Good Idea...

And the possibility to mesure the angular distance between two points would be great too !

(You draw a line with the mouse for exemple ! Usefull for telescope observations !)

A convertor within Celestia (which actively changes km to RSun, etc.) would be more useful than having to manual type the number into the calculator. If all you need is to change units, there's a calculator for astronomical measurements at http://www.onlineconversion.com/astronomical.htm.

well, i think it would just be easier if celestia was accompanied with it built in
