Time speed problem

Now,the time speed is measured in power of 2 and no of 10.You put 10X faster and then it appears 2Xfaster;you put 100X faster amd it appears 4X faster.I don??t know if it??s really a bug,but is a BIT strange...

Daniel,

You are typing upper case K and L.
Try lower case k and l

There are now two time speed changes: 2x and 10x.

Type a capital L to get 2x faster
Type a lower case l to get 10x faster

Type a capital K to get 2x slower
Type a lower case k to get 10x slower
Selden

Well I didn't know that either Selden...

As always - THANKS for the explanation. Is there anything you
DON'T know?

Take care, Bob

How would you have been able to know that?
This a *new* feature of 1.5.0.(pre)

Is this a rhetorical question?

I could probably have researched everything from the time of my
absence, but I figured it was just as easy to get yelled at for a while.

Methinks you and me need some beers.

Hmm, I'm running 1.5.0 final that I build on a Fedora Core 8 system. Both K and k divide the speed by 2 and both L and l increase it by a factor of 2. I can't get factors of 10 any more.

Is there a config file someplace that might be affecting that?

There's no config option for this: it should just work.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Using K, k, L, and l all work fine for me. But when I use the menu at the top and select Time --> 10x Faster (L) and Time --> 10x Slower (K), time is changed by a factor of two.

Yep, I can confirm this. This is a bug!
