Sui, I don't see this problem on my PowerBook with 10.4.9. I do however have issues with star glare size abruptly changing as I move past 1 ly from a star.

I think there's a graphics firmware update for your iMac model. It ought to appear in your mac's software update app if your model is eligible for the update.
Are you seeing squares after applying this update?

Something going on with Neptune in 1.5 Pre5...

Just applied for Bug-Tracker account, but thought you might like to
hear about it now.

Going to Neptune's North Pole, I see a weird hex-shaped dark area.
Does NOT go away, and is NOT the texture. Has something to do
with how the planet is rendered. Just FYI.

As soon as I get a bug-tracker account verification, I'll log it in.

Thanks, Brain-Dead

I'm locking this thread. A gigantic 'Post Bugs Here' topic is much less useful than individual topics for each bugs. After all, 'Post Bugs Here' is pretty much the whole point of this forum. Also, don't forget to use the SourceForge bug tracker, which makes the devs' job of monitoring bugs much easier:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php
