The Addon works fine for me, after I restructured it.

This suggests to me that you didn't put bianca.jpg into a textures folder. It's really annoying when people provide incomplete Addons with no instructions -- they're unusable by people who are relatively unfamiliar with Celestia.

If you haven't already done so, try dragging bianca.jpg into Celestia\textures\hires
Do you see Nix then?

Too late Selden. I just ended up deleting it . Is there any add ons you can recommend that have instructions - just to get me going ?

Goonster,

I just did a fresh installation of Celestia 1.4.1 AND I downloaded
the add-on we're talking about here.

I simply copied the add-on SSC file to my Celestia\extras folder and
then I copied the bianca texture file to my Celestia\textures\medres
folder and it worked perfectly.

If it doesn't work at your end, then something was not installed
correctly. Did you add this package as I have just described?

It works fine here.

Thanks again, Brain-Dead

Thanks for that Bob . I did just as you said and still no luck . I wander if there is a problem with the program on the Webuser disc I got Celestia from .When I look in the files the info is there , its just not appearing on screen.
I think I`ll just enjoy the program as it is for now . Thanks for all your help anyway . :(

Well, Hallelujah...

Did you have to re-install everything like I suggested in my e-mail?
Just curious...

I may not be very smart, but I'm persistent as Hell.

:D As a matter of fact no . It was just me copying the data wrongly . The ssc was easy enough but the image was where I was going wrong . I guess that`s why I could see the details on screen but not the image . At least now I know . You learn from your mistakes as they say .
