hi Reiko if you are referring to

Code: Select all

//#if LUA_VER < 0x050100
// cleanup stack - is this necessary?
lua_settop(costate, stack_top);
//#endif

you don't
you edit celx.cpp and recompile celestia

I too am still using 1.4.1, primarily because I have over 100 add-ons in use in the educational version of 1.4.1, and I am concerned i will need to do a lot of editing to get them to all work in 1.5.0. Also, the star textures looked really bad (sorry Chris), the sky was almost black when you looked up at zenith from the ground on Earth, and planets could be seen in daytime.

I'm delighted to read that the star problem has been fixed and will be available in the next Windows build of 1.5.0. Has the dark zenith problem and planets visible during the daytime also been fixed?

:roll:

I have both the 1.4.1 and 1.5.0 with lots of add ons installed in the 1.4.1 but I only had to edit one thing to get those addons to work with 1.5.0

All I did was edit one line in the celestia.cfg file
ExtrasDirectories [ "C:\\Program Files\\Celestia\\extras" ]

And now the addons work with 1.5.0 with out having to move or edit them.
Thanks to Chuft-Capitan for telling me about this.
