Grant Hutchison has provided an update to his http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/celestia/hutchison/newtextures.zip which includes separate surface and cloud texture maps for Venus. See http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/celestia/hutchison/index.htmlfor details.

That's nice.
It does need to be mirrored north-south to work correctly with the deimos.3ds mesh object, though.
I actually smuggled a 1k Deimos from the USGS into my newtextures.zip file, derived from the same data as you've used, but it looks like you've sharpened the contrast and brought out a lot of the small craters.

Okay Ill flip it......

The Deimos map with Celestia is conventionally orientated - it's what you'll find in the books, with north at the top and west to the left. The trouble is that when it is pasted on to the 3DS mesh object for Deimos in Celestia, the map gets turned inside-out! So to make the final image of Deimos appear correct, you have to pre-treat the map - mirroring it north for south does the trick, and the final object then appears correctly orientated. That's what I've done with my replacement texture map, and what I was suggesting Darkmiss do with his.
