Help with ocean texture please?

I need help making a better ocean texture. I use gimp as well as paint.net to mess with the ice age earth like texture, 18000BC Earth.I am
kind of new to Celestia. I downloaded it last year. I am autistic, so I have a little trouble communicating clearly. I would like help making a not seamless, more realistic ocean texture. I would use the clone stamp on gimp. If anyone would help or has one already, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, but Don Edwards
Earth Central site is probably the best thing to take a look at. If I
remember correctly, Don has also made some early Earth textures.

The Earth 18,000 BCE is my texture, and I don't remember it having a seam in the oceans. This is a rather old texture, almost 5 years old. If you have the JPG or PNG version you could load it into and image editor an work the seam out yourself. Bob posted a link to an image editor that might do the trick.
