Help me with my homework

Post #1by B_McKinley » 07.11.2007, 18:28

Introduction to Web Development final project anyway. I'm building a Web site about a system of imaginary planets. I hope to offer at least a basic add on download. So Celestia users are one of my main audience groups. So for the purposes of doing my audience research I thought I'd do an informal survey here.

Any help is appreciated. If you feel inclined please answer these questions.

How old are you?

What is your gender?

What is your primary language?

Which OS and Web browser do you use regularly?

Are you interested in fictional add-ons for Celestia?

Are you a fan of science fiction? If so, what kinds?

Do you read comics or graphic novels?

Do you play role-playing games?

Do you play video or computer games?

Do you search for Celestia add-ons that are not on Celestia Motherlode?

Once again, thanks. My project is due Dec. 10 so hopefully I'll get a few responses. Look for my add-on in the Add-ons forum after that.

Well, I took a guess, but YOU still demonstrate enthusiasm for
your tasks. Along about age 52, I lost MUCH of that enthusiasm.

This is great though, Selden. The longer you keep that enthusiasm,
the longer you'll live.

Are you a fan of science fiction? If so, what kinds? Yes, The original Star Wars trilogy and Star Trek series, Babylon 5, Dune etc... Basically I am more interested in the story then the technology. This makes watching SciFi stuff difficult because I know the physics and what works. The only way for me to get around that is if the series is able to suspend my disbelief which is rare now days. Hence I like stories that have a plausible impossibility to them. You know it doesn?€™t work but inside that universe it makes since. This is the main reason why I do not like the later Star Trek series.
Do you read comics or graphic novels? Nope
Do you play role-playing games? Used to when I was in high school, but was I never really that involved.
Do you play video or computer games? Yes if they are free
Do you search for Celestia add-ons that are not on Celestia Motherlode? Nope

Come on. Don't be shy.
