Hi guys...
I'm revamping my Alpha Centauri A add-on, using 1.5.0pre2. I've added the newer atmospheric declarations (the Mie and such), and now suddenly the atmosphere is a solid red. This of course dissapears when I disable the atmosphere height declaration, but then one sees a nice and black daylight sky from the surface. Oddly, this has not happened on any other add-on I've made.
Also, for this add-on only, the cloud shadows are *way* off, and stationary, as far as I can tell.
Anyone have any clues?
My system is:
Pro Series XP 10/2006
Intel(R)
Pentum(R) D CPU 3.4GHz
1GB RAM
Video Card X1600 Series ATI with 256MB

Well, I figured it out. Kind of. I don't know if it is a bug in Clestia, combined with the newer atmospheric declarations, or if it has something to do with my vid card (which *is* updated, by the way), but apparently the problems with the solid red atmosphere and the stationary cloud shadows was caused by the planet being in a double star system.
I placed the add-on in orbit of a single star (37 Geminorum, if it matters to anyone), without any change in the ssc file at all, and the planet appeared perfectly normal.
Sooo... what I'll probably do, unless a solution on my end or Celestia's comes up before then, is to include the new atmosphere declarations, but have them inactive; I'll include instructions on what to do in order to see the planet as it should appear, when I eventually download the upgraded version to the Motherlode.
Thanks to Selden for his great help in this matter!
