iv'e been using celestia for about a year or so and i might as well make a system. it is a work in progress, but i'll put it up for download.please tell me whether you like the planets or not...(please excuse the yellow numbers, i was running FRAPS .)

the reason ALL the planets have "con" in it is because i ran out of names to call them! anyway....it is in a dual star system called "conslavia".
here is the download link...
http://hosted.filefront.com/conj2610/ then click "download".I'll be updating this post with better versions of my addon.
BTW, when you open celestia, and if you want to see my addon, search for "conslavia a"
Have fun "celestiaing" :?: conj.

That's quite good :)
If I may make a suggestion, the volcanic world there (I'm not sure of it's name), you may want to make the night texture dimmer, the high contrast between day/night lava makes it look like the lava heats up on the night side.
Current Setup:
Windows 7 64 bit. Celestia 1.6.0.
AMD Athlon Processor, 1.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

Good, but why the temperature of the blue watery planet is more than boiling point of water even w/o atmosphere?
And also the temperature of the green-blue planet is above the runaway greenhouse threshold.

m1omg,

Celestia uses the bolometric temperature of the system's star to calculate the approximate blackbody temperature of a body at that position. It does not attempt to calculate any greenhouse effect. The creator of an Addon would have to make the appropriate adjustments to orbital parameters.

I know.Do you understand me?
I said that both planets's temperatures are too hot even w/o greenhouse effect and that at these orbits these planets will suffer a terrible supergreenhouse runaway effect like on Venus.
At these orbits both planets will be Venuslike or To'uhl-like at best.

I seem to recal Triton having an atmosphere that cools it down to colder than Pluto? Perhaps an anti-greenhouse effect.
