The warning messages come from the ScriptedOrientation script, not from the celx script.
The .cel script from v0.4 should work, too.
Hopefully you didn't delete it!
Or you could edit the .celx script.
Delete everything between the line that says
-- second view: wide angle view of target area
and the line that says
-- display introductory text
That will eliminate the three small window panes. Celestia should run faster because it doesn't have to calculate their contents.
The .cel script from v0.4 should work, too.

It also allows you to rotate Hubble's field-of-view on the sky.
